Bloom Energy (NYSE: BE) shares rose 9.3% in early trading, extending a 240% gain this year. The surge follows growing demand for its solid-oxide fuel cells, which provide reliable power for AI data centers amid strained electrical grids.

The company expanded its partnership with Brookfield, increasing project financing from $5 billion to $25 billion. Bloom will supply fuel cell systems for these projects, aligning with rising AI infrastructure investments. Earlier, Anthropic’s $19 billion data center lease with TeraWulf highlighted similar demand trends.

Investors are betting on future revenue growth, though the stock’s valuation remains speculative.
