President Donald Trump’s public endorsement of Dell Technologies during a White House event triggered a 7% jump in the company’s stock.

Dell Technologies shares climbed more than 7% after President Donald Trump urged Americans to buy Dell computers during a White House ceremony. The event marked the launch of Trump Accounts, tax-advantaged investment vehicles for children under 18, and included a joint NYSE-Nasdaq opening bell—the first held at the White House.

Trump praised Dell founder Michael Dell and his wife, Susan, for pledging over $6 billion to the Trump Accounts program. The endorsement echoed similar remarks in May, following their prior donation. A 2025 financial disclosure revealed 24 Dell-related transactions across five accounts, totaling between $300,000 and $1 million in trades.
