The appointment consolidates leadership at Amundi’s multi-management business overseeing private equity, debt, infrastructure, and real estate assets.
Amundi has appointed Petra Salesny as CEO of Amundi Alpha Associates, its €24bn private markets multi-management division. Salesny, a co-founder of Alpha Associates in 2004, will retain her role as chief commercial officer following Amundi’s 2024 acquisition of the firm.
The division spans private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and real estate. Salesny previously served as chief operations officer at Swiss Life Private Equity Partners and held legal and M&A advisory roles at Bank Vontobel and Helbling.
Amundi manages over €2.3tn in assets and serves 100 million clients globally. The move follows broader leadership changes announced earlier this year, effective January 2026.
