First-quarter operating income rose 30%, with margins expanding 2 percentage points to 36.1%. Google Cloud revenue surged 63%, while backlog nearly doubled to $460 billion, according to the company’s earnings release.

Shares remain 12% below their 52-week high after a July pullback in AI-related trades, leaving investors weighing whether to buy or take profits.
