Arizona Gold & Silver Inc (TSX-V:AZS, OTCQB:AZASF, FRA:A9J0) announced metallurgical test results demonstrating up to 99% gold recovery from its Philadelphia project. The company said approximately 50% of recoverable gold was extracted within the first 10 days of leaching, a pace described as highly competitive with existing mines.
The results follow earlier exploration drilling, which established resource size and quality. CEO Mike Stark emphasized that efficient processing is critical for development, noting that a large resource holds little value without economic recovery. The company attributed the fast recovery to a higher-pressure crushing process, which improves gold accessibility.
Stark called the outcome encouraging, stating the recovery speed is the envy of many operating mines. Industry feedback on the results has been positive, reinforcing the project’s potential.
