Goldman Sachs and TD Cowen raised price targets for major U.S. airlines, citing stronger revenue trends and a 21% drop in fuel costs over the past month. Goldman lifted targets for Delta (DAL) to $116 and United (UAL) to $162, while TD Cowen adjusted its outlook for American (AAL) and Southwest (LUV).

The upgrades reflect improving demand and cost dynamics, though analysts remain divided on American Airlines, with Goldman maintaining a Sell rating at $15 and TD Cowen a Buy at $24. JetBlue (JBLU) was rated a Sell at $4.50 by Goldman, contrasting with the JETS ETF’s 18% year-to-date gain.

The moves signal growing optimism for the sector, though single-stock risks persist amid mixed analyst sentiment.
