The S&P 500 extended its rally above the 200-hour moving average at 7471.23, reaching a session high of 7540.45. Buyers maintained control after the index held support near 7495.14, signaling strong near-term momentum ahead of the July 4 holiday.

The next resistance levels are the June 15 swing high at 7577.92 and the record high at 7620.90. The index has remained above its 200-hour average since Tuesday, reinforcing a bullish technical bias.

The Nasdaq 100 struggled to sustain gains above its 200-hour moving average at 26,215.71, peaking at 26,236.19 before facing resistance. Buyers have repeatedly failed to hold above this level this week, keeping short-term control contested.
