ET. Gold prices remain below $4,100 today as they have for much of this week. Prices are edging higher this morning ahead of the June jobs report that is expected to show growth.

Analysts expect that the economy added 115,000 jobs last month, and that the unemployment rate will remain at 4.3% for the fourth consecutive month. New Fed Chair Kevin Warsh spoke at the European Central Bank’s forum yesterday, addressing inflation, among other topics. Warsh noted that inflation expectations and risks have come down, leading many to expect the Fed will not be in any rush to raise interest rates following its meeting this month.
