Anchorage Digital enables Binance users to trade digital assets without transferring custody to the exchange.
Binance has integrated off-exchange settlement via Anchorage Digital, allowing institutional clients to execute trades while retaining control of assets in third-party custody. The model verifies collateral in real time without requiring asset transfers to the exchange.
Similar solutions were adopted by Bitget in June and KuCoin Institutional earlier this year, reflecting growing demand for non-custodial trading. Bitget’s Fireblocks integration and KuCoin’s Ceffu MirrorX platform both enable offchain settlement, with KuCoin mirroring funds every four hours.
The move follows a broader trend of exchanges enhancing institutional custody options amid market volatility, including Bitcoin’s drop to $58K and XRP’s decline to $1.
