QatarEnergy has launched a tender for crude loadings in July and August, marking its first offering since the Iran war began on February 28. The tender, closing June 29, includes Marine Qatar, Marine Land, and al-Shaheen grades for ship-to-ship transfers in offshore waters near Fujairah and Sohar.

The move follows a prolonged halt in Qatari crude tenders due to regional tensions. Buyers are expected to lift cargoes outside the Strait of Hormuz, a critical chokepoint for global oil shipments. No prior consensus or comparable tenders were reported during the conflict period.

Trade sources indicate the tender reflects efforts to stabilize supply amid ongoing geopolitical risks, though market reaction remains unclear.
