Agility Robotics will merge with Churchill Capital Corp XI in a deal valuing the company at $2.5 billion. The transaction is expected to raise over $620 million, including $200 million from institutional investors.
The startup, known for its Digit humanoid robot, has secured $300 million in multi-year orders and is evaluating deployments with over 30 potential customers. Backers include Amazon, Nvidia, and SoftBank Vision Fund 2.
Proceeds will fund production of the next-generation Digit v5 and expand commercial deployments amid labor shortages and supply chain demands.
