Strategy Shares (MSTR) stock falls below $100 for the first time since March 1, 2024, amid Bitcoin’s decline to $60,935.
Shares of Bitcoin treasury firm Strategy Shares (MSTR) plunged to $97.30 on Wednesday, marking their lowest level in over two years. The drop follows Bitcoin’s (BTC) fall to $60,935, a two-week low, amid investor shifts toward AI stocks and outflows from Bitcoin ETFs.
MSTR last traded below $100 on March 1, 2024, when Bitcoin hovered near $61,000-$62,000. The stock has since declined 20% over the past week and 38% in the last month, erasing gains from its 2025 peak above $400. Bitcoin’s retreat from its October high of $126,000 has weighed heavily on MSTR’s performance.
The sell-off reflects broader market concerns over Federal Reserve policy and reduced appetite for cryptocurrency exposure. MSTR’s stock was recently trading at $98.05, down 5.5% on the day.
