CMCSA expands Xfinity’s same-day equipment delivery to 20 markets, aiming for nationwide rollout by early 2027.
Comcast Corp.’s (NASDAQ:CMCSA) Xfinity brand introduced same-day delivery for WiFi equipment, targeting new internet subscribers in 20 initial markets. The service allows customers to receive hardware on the day of sign-up, with plans to expand nationwide by early 2027.
The initiative follows a recent network expansion in Wisconsin, where Comcast is extending multi-gigabit internet to over 5,500 locations. The 300-mile project is expected to complete by late 2027, with initial serviceability slated for late 2026. Comcast claims this makes Xfinity the first major wired provider to offer same-day equipment delivery.
Comcast serves residential and business customers with broadband, video, and wireless services, alongside broadcast and cable television through NBC, Telemundo, and Sky networks.
