Micron (MU) will release third-quarter earnings after markets close Wednesday, with analysts forecasting a 967% year-over-year surge in earnings per share to $20.39. Revenue is projected to climb 281% to $35.5 billion, driven by soaring demand for memory and storage chips in AI data centers.

The company reported EPS of $1.91 and revenue of $9.3 billion in the same quarter last year. DRAM revenue is expected to rise 288% to $27.5 billion, while NAND revenue is seen increasing 256% to $7.7 billion. Adjusted gross margins may reach 81.83%, up 110% year over year.

Micron’s stock has rallied 862% over the past 12 months, reflecting broader gains in the memory sector. The company recently announced a strategic supply deal with AI firm Anthropic, though some analysts warn of growing interdependencies in the AI ecosystem.
