Packaging firm Paranova invests £5m to triple production capacity, supplying premium RF-tagged packs for Aldi’s British Wagyu range.
Paranova Print and Packaging has completed a £5m redevelopment of its St Neots site, tripling manufacturing capacity to support Aldi’s Specially Selected British Wagyu range. The upgrade added 2,000m² of space and integrates RF security tags into packaging without altering its premium appearance.
The company now produces over 700 million recyclable food-to-go packs annually across three sites. The new packaging uses reverse kraft board and foil accents to align with Aldi’s premium tier, while maintaining supply chain efficiency.
Paranova stated the investment positions its St Neots plant as the largest fibre-based food-to-go packaging facility in the UK, enhancing operational scalability for retail clients.
