US Vice President JD Vance stated that talks with Iran have made significant progress, including Tehran’s agreement to allow International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors back into the country. Vance called the move a major milestone toward permanently ending Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

The negotiations in Switzerland followed earlier discussions where both sides acknowledged challenges but continued dialogue. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also described the talks as yielding major progress, reinforcing the diplomatic momentum.

At press time, WTI crude oil prices edged 0.05% higher to $73.95, reflecting cautious market reaction to the geopolitical developments.
