SharpLink and Bitmine back Ethlabs research organization
Ethlabs is a new nonprofit research and development organization formed with support from major corporate ETH holders.
The organization is led by five former senior Ethereum Foundation contributors who worked on areas including Ethereum scaling and protocol economics.
The launch comes amid a period of upheaval at the Ethereum Foundation, with several high-level departures reported recently.
Ethlabs is funded by SharpLink Gaming, Bitmine Immersion Technologies, and Consensys CEO Joe Lubin, among others.
