SpaceX completed the largest initial public offering in history, pricing shares at $135 and raising $85.7 billion after underwriters exercised options. The stock opened at $150 and closed at $160.95, delivering a 19% gain on its first trading day.

Demand for SpaceX stock exceeded $250 billion, far surpassing the $75 billion initially targeted. The company reported revenue growth from $10.4 billion in 2023 to $18.7 billion in 2025, backed by 650 rocket launches and 7,400 metric tons of payloads delivered by Q1 2026.

The IPO’s success highlights strong investor appetite for high-growth tech firms, setting a precedent for upcoming listings like Anthropic and OpenAI.
