BeOne Medicines reports 78-month Phase 3 data for BRUKINSA, demonstrating sustained efficacy in treating B-cell blood cancers.

BeOne Medicines (NASDAQ:ONC) unveiled updated Phase 3 clinical data for BRUKINSA at the European Hematology Association Congress, showing a 71.8% progression-free survival rate over 78 months in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma. The drug outperformed bendamustine-rituximab, which posted a 31% rate.

BRUKINSA, an oral BTK inhibitor, is approved in 80 markets for treating various B-cell blood cancers. The latest trial results align with prior safety and efficacy data, reinforcing its role as a foundational therapy after nearly 6.5 years of follow-up.

The company emphasized BRUKINSA’s potential as a targeted treatment, citing its ability to deliver complete and sustained inhibition of the BTK protein. No immediate market reaction was disclosed.
