Texas brothers plead guilty to robbing a Minnesota family
Two Texas brothers have pleaded guilty to robbing a Minnesota family of more than $8 million in cryptocurrency.
They held the family at gunpoint for over eight hours and forced the father to transfer the funds.
The brothers traveled from Texas to Minnesota to carry out the scheme, which occurred on September 19, 2025.
Each faces up to 20 years in prison for the crime, which is one of the larger U.S. examples of a crypto ‘wrench attack’.
