UK retail sales volumes increased 1.2% month-over-month
UK retail sales volumes rose 1.2% in May, rebounding from a 1.0% decline in April.
The increase surpassed market expectations of a 0.5% rise.
On a three-month basis, retail sales were up 0.4% compared to the prior three months.
