Oklo will purchase high-assay low-enriched uranium from Centrus to fuel up to five microreactors starting in 2029.
Oklo (OKLO) signed an agreement with Centrus Energy (LEU) to supply high-assay low-enriched uranium (HALEU) for its Aurora microreactors. The deal covers fuel for up to five reactors, with deliveries set to begin in 2029.
Centrus will provide the enriched uranium needed to power Oklo’s advanced fission reactors, addressing a key supply constraint in the nuclear energy sector. The agreement follows growing demand for HALEU, which is not yet widely available commercially.
Shares of both companies rose following the announcement, contrasting with broader market declines led by the Nasdaq and S&P 500.
