The exchange now offers US stocks, ETFs, options, tokenized assets, and AI-driven trading tools alongside crypto products.
Coinbase launched a broad set of new products, including US stock and ETF trading, options on equities and crypto, and tokenized stocks backed by real shares. The move aims to position the platform as an “everything exchange” integrating traditional and digital assets under one roof.
The expansion follows BTC’s dip to $64.8k and a 2-3% decline in crypto majors ahead of the FOMC meeting. Coinbase also introduced perpetual futures tied to thematic baskets, an SEC-registered AI advisor, and consumer products like a USDC-backed credit card and Bitcoin travel rewards.
The update reflects Coinbase’s push to bridge crypto and traditional finance, though market reaction remains unclear amid broader macro uncertainty.
