The AI optical parts maker targets a mid-July listing, potentially the city’s largest this year, after strong investor demand.

Zhongji Innolight, a Chinese manufacturer of optical modules for AI data centers, plans a Hong Kong share sale aiming to raise up to $7 billion as early as mid-July. The company initially targeted $5 billion but increased the goal following robust investor interest during roadshows.

The offering would be Hong Kong’s largest this year and the biggest Chinese tech listing in the city in at least 12 months. It surpasses Victory Giant Technology’s $2.73 billion secondary listing in April, according to LSEG data. Zhongji Innolight awaits regulatory clearance from Chinese authorities by late June.

The Shenzhen-listed firm has confidentially filed for the listing, with no immediate market reaction reported.
