More from WWD Total sales for the quarter ended May 2 increased 10.5 percent to $64 million, compared to $57.9 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2025. The year-over-year increase was driven by a 15.6 percent rise in the direct-to-consumer segment and a 5.9 percent increase in the wholesale segment. The first-quarter loss from operations was $2.6 million compared to a loss from operations of $4.4 million in the same period last year.

The net loss was $2.1 million, or 16 cents a share, compared to a net loss of $4.8 million, or 37 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Gross profit was $32.4 million, or 50.6 percent of net sales, compared to gross profit of $29.2 million, or 50.3 percent of net sales, in the first quarter of fiscal 2025.
