National average price falls to $3.99 per gallon
The national average price of gasoline has fallen below $4 per gallon for the first time in many months.
The price has dropped 9.3 cents over the last week, with the current average standing at $3.99 per gallon.
This decline is based on data compiled from over 12 million individual price reports covering more than 150,000 gas stations across the country.
