GitLab reported $264.2 million in Q1 FY2027 revenue, driven by enterprise demand for AI-assisted software development tools.

GitLab Inc. posted first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $264.2 million, a 23% year-over-year increase, as demand for AI-integrated DevSecOps platforms grows. Non-GAAP operating margin reached 14%, with operating cash flow at $149.2 million and adjusted free cash flow at $146.7 million.

The company’s expansion with Google Cloud, leveraging Gemini and Gemma AI models, aims to provide enterprises with a fully managed DevSecOps platform while maintaining data control. GitLab’s balance sheet remains strong, with $335.4 million in cash and $1.02 billion in short-term investments against $674.1 million in liabilities.

GitLab’s results reflect broader trends in enterprise software, where AI-assisted workflows are becoming critical for security, compliance, and development efficiency.
