Digital Asset raised $355 million to bolster Canton, its blockchain network targeting regulated financial institutions. The capital will support expansion of the ecosystem, developer engagement, and broader adoption among banks and asset managers.

Investors include ABN Amro, Apollo Funds, BNP Paribas, Citadel Securities, CME Ventures, Coinbase Ventures ($COIN), HSBC, S&P Global ($SPGI), SoFi ($SOFI), and Tradeweb ($TW). The round reflects growing institutional interest in blockchain solutions that address privacy, compliance, and interoperability challenges.

Canton is positioned to facilitate tokenization, collateral mobility, and settlement workflows within existing regulatory frameworks. The funding underscores Wall Street’s push to integrate blockchain into traditional finance operations.
