Salesforce eliminated 86 positions across its Agentforce, MuleSoft, and Marketing Cloud divisions, according to a regulatory filing. The layoffs span sales, administration, and technology roles, with affected employees set to leave by August 7.

The company previously reduced fewer than 1,000 jobs in January, while its total headcount remained above 80,000 as of late January. Severance packages vary by tenure, age, and role, with maximum payouts reaching 30 weeks for eligible employees.

The move reflects broader industry concerns that AI adoption may reduce demand for traditional enterprise software, including Salesforce’s core offerings.
