Worksport Ltd CEO forgoes $50,000 in cash for 79,618 shares at $0.6280 each, repeating a prior equity-based compensation move.
Worksport Ltd (NASDAQ:WKSP) CEO Steven Rossi elected to receive 79,618 shares of common stock instead of $50,000 in cash compensation. The shares were issued under a June 5, 2026, agreement at $0.6280 per share, matching the stock’s Nasdaq closing price that day.
This is the second time Rossi has chosen stock over cash, following a similar decision in April 2026 when he took 88,214 shares instead of $75,000. The company stated the move reflects confidence in its long-term strategy amid revenue growth and product expansion.
Worksport reported annual revenue rising from $1.5 million in 2023 to $16.1 million in 2025, alongside margin improvements and the rollout of its Nexus Tonneau Cover in April 2026.
