GE Vernova (NYSE:GEV) announced a 100 MW order from Powerica Limited for 28 of its 3.8 MW–154m onshore wind turbines. The turbines will be delivered to the Botad Wind Farm in Gujarat, with initial shipments expected in Q4 2026. The order will be fulfilled by GE Vernova’s Pune facility, which has an annual capacity of up to 1,500 MW.

The company also received Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) certification from India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. This follows a prior milestone on May 26, 2026, when GE Vernova’s HA gas turbine fleet surpassed 4 million operating hours globally, driven by rising AI and data center electricity demand.

GE Vernova’s expansion aligns with India’s goal of achieving 100 GW of wind power capacity by 2030, reinforcing its role in the country’s renewable energy sector.
