Aerospace segment growth and cost controls drove AstroNova’s fiscal first-quarter revenue increase of 4.5% year over year.

AstroNova (NASDAQ:ALOT) posted fiscal first-quarter revenue of $39.4 million, up from $37.7 million a year earlier and $37.5 million in the prior quarter. The increase was led by a 16.3% year-over-year rise in Aerospace segment revenue to $13.3 million, driven by higher commercial aircraft build rates and regional jet demand.

Management attributed the gains to stronger sales discipline, operating efficiencies, and tariff mitigation efforts, which added $0.7 million to revenue. Foreign currency translation contributed an additional $0.6 million. The company’s ToughWriter printer platform also benefited from favorable industry conditions.

Shares showed no immediate reaction following the earnings call, as the results aligned with recent momentum from the second half of fiscal 2026.
