Broadcom reports Q2 2026 revenue of $22.187 billion, with AI semiconductor sales surging 143% YoY to $10.8 billion.
Broadcom CEO Hock Tan dismissed concerns that agentic AI will disrupt software licensing, citing strong demand for AI infrastructure. The company’s Q2 2026 revenue reached $22.187 billion, a 48% YoY increase, driven by AI semiconductor sales of $10.8 billion, up 143% from the prior year.
The results exceeded expectations, with non-GAAP diluted EPS at $2.44. Tan’s remarks align with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, who also rejected the “Saaspocalypse” narrative, arguing AI will boost software demand rather than replace it.
Broadcom’s VMware segment saw heightened demand as enterprises expand computing capacity for AI workloads, reinforcing Tan’s confidence in the software business model.
