GitLab reported stronger-than-expected revenue growth, driven by new customer acquisitions and enterprise demand.
GitLab posted fiscal first-quarter revenue of $264.2 million, up 23% year over year and exceeding its guidance range of $253 million to $255 million. The company saw a 30% increase in new customer acquisitions and a 117% dollar-based net retention rate over the past 12 months.
Subscription revenue climbed 23% to $239.3 million, while license revenue rose 25% to $24.9 million. GitLab also generated nearly $20 million in consumption revenue from its Duo Agentic Platform, highlighting demand from non-technical users.
The company continues to focus on enterprise customers, where it reports the strongest growth, including a rising number of clients spending over $100,000 annually.
