Apple’s App Store generated $1.4 trillion in sales in 2025, according to a study by the Analysis Group. The figure reflects a more than twofold increase since 2019, driven by growth in digital goods, physical goods, and in-app advertising revenue.

The study found digital goods and services sales rose 2.4 times, while physical goods and services increased by 2.8%. In-app advertising revenue climbed 2.9 times. Apple’s Services segment, which includes the App Store, contributed $109.1 billion to the company’s $416.1 billion in total revenue for fiscal 2025.

China led App Store billings with $562 billion, followed by the U.S. at $453 billion and Europe at $184 billion. Apple collected commissions on less than 10% of the total sales, amid ongoing antitrust scrutiny over its App Store practices.
