The UK electronics manufacturer reported annual organic sales growth and a strong order book increase, despite a 40 basis point margin dip.
DiscoverIE Group (LON:DSCV) reported a 2% rise in full-year organic sales, with momentum improving through the year. Organic orders surged 14% in the fourth quarter, while sales climbed 5%, driven by both divisions returning to growth.
The order book grew 5% in the second half compared to the first, reflecting orders outpacing sales. Adjusted operating profit edged up 1%, though the margin contracted 40 basis points to 13.8% due to growth investments. Adjusted earnings per share increased 4%.
Finance Director Simon Gibbins noted a recovery in the Controls unit, which returned to growth in Q4 after destocking challenges. The company added GBP 4.4 million in resources, expanding capacity in Europe, the U.S., and Asia.
