Generali Group has extended its use of Intermap Technologies’ Aquarius risk management platform to Poland, Hungary, and Slovenia. The expansion aims to improve natural hazard and climate exposure assessments across central and eastern Europe, supporting underwriting, reinsurance, and claims processes.

The Aquarius system integrates 3D geospatial data and peril analytics to provide consistent risk intelligence. Intermap’s recurring services revenue, which accounts for about 80% of its total revenue, underpins the partnership. Generali previously used the platform in other markets and will now apply it for accumulation oversight and capital allocation.

Intermap CEO Patrick Blott highlighted the need for scalable risk solutions amid rising climate volatility. The platform combines software, automation, and location-based data to streamline large-scale risk evaluation for insurers.
