Outflows from spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs accelerated last week, marking the third-highest weekly exit for Bitcoin on record.
Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded net outflows of $1.42 billion for the week ending May 29, the third-largest weekly withdrawal since their launch. The outflows reflect continued investor caution amid broader crypto market volatility.
Spot Ethereum ETFs saw $241 million in net outflows, extending a three-week decline. Meanwhile, smaller crypto ETFs tracking SOL, XRP, and HYPE posted modest inflows of $2.36 million, $15.2 million, and $25.57 million, respectively.
The data underscores shifting sentiment in digital asset markets as macroeconomic uncertainty persists.
