Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF, FRA:1SS) has appointed event industry veteran Jesse Carrillo as vice president of sales to lead the company’s global sales organization.
Carrillo brings more than 15 years of experience in the event industry, including three years at Blackstone-backed Cvent, a global event management software company
At Nextech3D.ai, he will focus on expanding enterprise customer relationships, driving new customer acquisition, and increasing monetization across the company’s Eventdex, Map D, and Krafty Labs platforms. “Bringing in a senior sales leader with direct experience from Blackstone-backed Cvent is a meaningful addition to Nextech,” said CEO Evan Gappelberg. “We are already seeing strong momentum across our business, and adding proven event-industry sales leadership only strengthens our ability to capitalize on that growth. Jesse understands the event ecosystem, enterprise sales cycles, and how to expand within customers, which aligns directly with our strategy.” In addition, Nextech said it had issued one million shares to CFO Anum Waqas are priced at $0.14 per share. The company cited her role in operational execution, financial leadership, and corporate turnaround efforts, including restructuring, acquisitions, and the company’s expansion into the US market.
Waqas also recently exercised 500,000 stock options at $0.07 per share for a total cost of $35,000, bringing her beneficial ownership to approximately 2.5 million common shares. Gappelberg separately exercised one million stock options at $0.07 per share for a total cost of $70,000. Following the exercise, he beneficially owns more than 30 million common shares of the company
