Boeing secured a 200-aircraft order from China, confirmed by the country’s Commerce Ministry after trade talks between U.S. and Chinese leaders. The agreement also includes U.S. commitments to supply aircraft engine parts and components to China, signaling improved trade relations.
The deal follows recent negotiations between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, which addressed tariff reductions and a pause on duties. Boeing described the order as an initial commitment, with potential for additional purchases as trade ties strengthen.
Separately, Boeing received a $396.76 million contract modification for CH-47F Block I helicopters under Foreign Military Sales, raising the total contract value to $793.51 million. The program is set to run through April 30, 2027.
