Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs saw combined outflows amid geopolitical tensions, while Hyperliquid ETFs extended net buying streaks.
Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds recorded $112 million in combined outflows on Monday, driven by risk-off sentiment linked to escalating Iran tensions. Bitcoin ETFs led losses with $105.2 million in outflows, while Ethereum ETFs shed $6.7 million, according to data tracking flows.
The outflows mark the third-largest weekly total of 2026, with digital asset investment products losing $1.47 billion last week. Bitcoin ETFs alone accounted for $1.315 billion in outflows, the largest weekly decline this year, while Ethereum funds saw $223 million exit. The sell-off extended globally, affecting markets in Switzerland, Canada, and Hong Kong.
In contrast, two Hyperliquid ETFs posted net inflows for the eighth consecutive day, adding $10.95 million on Monday and $25.5 million last week. The divergence reflects shifting institutional interest toward newer, high-growth crypto infrastructure products.
