The 50:50 joint venture will develop e-enabled air systems for trucks, targeting efficiency and automation demand in India by 2026.
Bosch and TSF Group, comprising Brakes India and Wheels India, have agreed to establish a joint venture for e-enabled air systems in commercial vehicles. The partnership aims to combine Bosch’s electronics expertise with TSF’s local market presence to produce high-performance compressed air systems, air suspension, and brake modules.
The JV will focus on engineering, manufacturing, and domestic sales in India, with operations expected to commence before the end of 2026 pending regulatory approvals. Global supply chain activities, excluding China, will remain with the existing entities of the partners. The collaboration addresses rising demand for efficiency, safety, and automation in the commercial vehicle sector.
Markus Heyn, Bosch mobility chairman, stated the venture will expand Bosch’s truck portfolio and reinforce its leadership in the commercial vehicle industry. The boards of all involved companies have approved the transaction.
