Bitcoin’s implied volatility fell to 36%, its lowest level in eight months, reflecting reduced expectations for sharp price swings. The decline comes as BTC trades between $63,000 and $71,000, with traders increasingly confident in support near $60,000.

Earlier this year, volatility spiked due to an unexplained price drop in January and February. Despite the recent narrow trading range, implied volatility remained above 50% in March before declining as risk perception eased. Analysts attribute the stabilization to growing institutional participation and expanded derivatives markets.

Derivatives data suggests a rally toward $82,000 could trigger a short squeeze, potentially fueling a bullish breakout. However, low volatility alone does not guarantee direction, leaving traders cautious about the next move.
