Internet Computer surpasses Solana and BNB Chain in transaction volume, processing 6.5 billion transactions over the past month.
Internet Computer (ICP) recorded 6.5 billion transactions in the last 30 days, outpacing Solana’s 2.9 billion and BNB Chain’s sub-500 million. The data, tracked by Chainspect, underscores ICP’s dominance in network activity.
Since its May 2021 launch, ICP has processed 287 billion transactions, averaging 2,891 transactions per second. The network’s horizontal scaling, via 49 subnets, supports its high throughput, with 10.4 million transactions in the past hour alone.
Despite the surge in activity, ICP’s price has struggled. After rallying nearly 49% in early May, the token has retreated over 28% since May 9, trading at $2.57, down 0.55% in the last 24 hours.
