Three tankers—two laden with Qatari liquefied natural gas and one carrying Iraqi Basrah crude—have passed through the Strait of Hormuz in recent days. The LNG carriers are bound for Pakistan and China, while the supertanker is en route to China, following Iran’s directive for vessels to use a specified route.

The LNG shipments were loaded in late March, according to shipping data. The strait, a critical chokepoint for global energy flows, has seen heightened tensions, though recent transits signal a temporary easing of disruptions.

No immediate market reaction was reported, but the resumption of shipments may alleviate concerns over supply constraints in Asian markets.
