The Monetary Authority of Singapore says its monetary policy stance remains appropriate.

Domestic interest rates are expected to hold broadly stable, despite global rate uncertainty.

The city-state’s Q1 GDP came in at 6.0% year-on-year, above the advance estimate of 4.6% and the Reuters poll of 5.1%.
