The new PP Revolution line aims to replace polystyrene while maintaining operational efficiency and supporting sustainability claims.
Amcor has launched a polypropylene dip cup and lidding range for foodservice, targeting condiments, dressings, and sauces. The PP Revolution line is designed to replace polystyrene without requiring changes to existing filling equipment, ensuring seamless adoption for manufacturers.
The range includes ten sizes from 0.5oz to 2.0oz, with options for clear, white opaque, and custom colors. It features enhanced barrier properties and compatibility with Amcor’s EZ Peel lidding, including recycle-ready materials. Select sizes have earned a “Preferred” rating under the APR Design Guide, potentially aiding recyclability claims and EPR fee benefits.
The launch aligns with consumer demand for sustainable packaging that maintains functionality and aesthetics. It expands Amcor’s portfolio, which already includes PET Revolution recycle-ready barrier cup stock.
