Pinterest shares rise after BMO Capital raises its price target, citing stronger AI-driven advertising performance and Q1 earnings beat.
BMO Capital increased its price target for Pinterest (PINS) to $30 from $28, maintaining an Outperform rating. The move follows Pinterest’s Q1 revenue and adjusted EBITDA results, which exceeded consensus estimates despite tariff pressures on key retail clients.
The firm noted that improvements in Pinterest’s AI-powered advertising platform helped offset headwinds later in the quarter. Revenue growth accelerated, supported by measurable returns on AI investments, according to the research note.
Roth Capital also raised its price target for PINS to $25 from $18, keeping a Neutral rating. The company’s Q2 guidance surpassed forecasts, signaling momentum in advertiser engagement and platform monetization.
