The defense contractor sets a June 17 payment date after increasing its payout for the first time since 2023.
Northrop Grumman announced a 6.9% increase in its quarterly dividend to $2.47 per share, up from $2.31. The new payout yields 1.78% on a forward basis and will be distributed June 17 to shareholders of record as of June 1.
The raise marks the first dividend hike since the company’s last adjustment in 2023, when it lifted the payout from $1.73 to $2.31. The move follows a period of stable defense spending and contract wins in aerospace and cybersecurity.
Shares of NOC showed little immediate reaction in after-hours trading following the announcement.
