Stilta, an AI-driven platform for patent research and litigation, has raised $10.5 million in a seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz. The funding includes participation from Y Combinator and operators at OpenAI and other tech firms.

The startup aims to streamline the manual and time-consuming process of patent analysis, which has historically been costly and slow. Stilta’s software automates document review and analytical tasks, functioning like a team of lawyers to accelerate intellectual property workflows.

The company was founded by Oskar Block and Tobias Estreen, who identified inefficiencies in patent litigation after observing the repetitive nature of legal work in the field. The platform allows users to input patent numbers and relevant content for automated analysis.
